Mrs. Jennifer Wainwright is our Practice Manager. She has been with the practice for a number of years, starting as a receptionist, and so is conversant with all aspects of surgery administration.  She oversees the day to day running of the surgery and is responsible for ensuring that we meet all our requirements of patient care, health and safety and confidentiality, She liases with the Health Authority, the PCT and other NHS bodies as well as meeting regularly with the doctors to plan ways to carry through their vision and plans for the practice, both now and in the future. Admin Team

Sue Williams and Rose Hurdman are our Senior Administrators. Sue looks after our IT and general maintenance and the day to day finances, and is usually able to help with enquiries when Mrs Wainwright is unavailable. Rose ensures that our patient records are kept as up to date and accurate is possible. She also liases with the Health Authorities on matters concerning registrations, and works closely with the Health Visitors on Child Protection issues. She is assisted by Sue Hair, Karen Wilks, Zoe Simpkins (currently on maternity leave), and Helen Finnegan, who ensure that patients keep up to date with the tests, immunisations and reviews that are necessary to ensure their well being and disease control. Zoe's other responsibilty for organising the doctors’ rotas and making sure appointment sessions are entered on the computer in good time for patients to make bookings is currently being undertaken by Sue Williams.

Lorna Kachula and Karen Wilks are the practice secretaries, who work for the doctors in typing and sending referrals; and other duties involving liason with consultants and other health professionals.

We have a team of receptionists, who all carry out administration duties as well as dealing with patients face to face and on the telephone. Sharan Holden is their Team Leader and her team are Elaine Hall, Glenda Dix, Judy Johnson, Margaret Woods, Helen Manton, Georgina Smith and Helen Finnegan.
